Zero Stars. AGAIN!!! Bought a Pro model in 2019, it broke in 2021. I had lost my actual receipt for $1100+ worth of AKRacing gear I purchased, and provided cc statements showing their charges. They conveniently had ‘maintenance’ on their computers or data base system and lost my records of purchase as well. Financial statements were deemed unacceptable. They refused to cover warranty parts, and offered that I could purchase ANOTHER entire lower seat pan assembly. Horrendous experience!
Fast forward to 2024 - I had the seat frame welded locally to fix it in 2019, it just broke AGAIN. Cheap Chinese metal no doubt. I thought maybe after two years the service and/or management would have improved.
Customer service team was eager to collect my PayPal money for a new seat pan, which was apparently still and option. I paid. I have invoice showing proof of purchase, which I submitted to them….. no word on order status. No shipping information… no response yet from customer service on any status of this $250 “purchase”, after nearly one week. I should have learned my lesson the first time around. Thought I might avoid buying a whole new chair for another $500 by fixing this one.
