Read MoreA recently opened establishment 110 Gallery is not letting the new wear off, or the paint barely dry as they move into varying areas of service for local artists. Yes it’s a gallery, and as you enter the front doors it showcases local artists in many different mediums. And the installations immediately draw your attention and you begin to browse. Paintings, pottery, yarn work, metal sculpture and more. And your ears catch sounds “ is there construction?” Well sort of, in an area beyond the gallery is an “artist’s studio”; work tables, 9 potters wheels, kiln, a welding station, all in a bright airy setting. Classes of many different mediums are held individually and in groups.
So if you’re an artist looking for gallery space, an aspiring artist who has the urge to try pottery or welding or maybe something else contact 110 Gallery. For those who are lovers of art but prefer to enjoy it visually make it a small group or family outing. All ages are welcome and the building is ADA compliant, and for the little ones or little ones at heart they have special space set aside for some crayon artwork creation.
The gallery is available for private events and has been the backdrop for one proposal. 110 Gallery is looking forward to being a central venue in Phoebus’s rebirth.
