It's a common gripe of Hudson Yard residents that our only Starbucks, past 8th Avenue, is in the Javitz and it's extremely limited. I was more than pleasantly surprised to stumble upon this hidden location while walking home via 33rd street. There is no signage on the building indicating a Starbucks and no window. The only way you would even know it's there is if you look into the lobby of this building and to the far right. I was told that this location had a window at one point but that the building did not like the foot traffic that it caused and after a temporary closure, due to the remodeling of the building, they reopened but, without a window. It's a very nice Starbucks and not usually crowded because no one really knows it exists. The staff is incredibly friendly and took the time to actually get to know me. They asked me to spread the word about their existence so, I'm doing as promised. My only wish is that they were open on weekends but logically, being in an office building, it makes sense. I hope they are able to get enough business to thrive. Starbucks is a precious commodity in the ever expanding "Far West".
