Read MoreI've visited this location in the past when in the area. When I visited recently, it obviously had undergone a major renovation. No longer were there any indoor seats for customers to linger as they sip their caffeinated drinks. Now, the place appears to be about half the size and includes a walk up window, a drive through, and a single restroom. Well, that's interesting. However, it didn't really affect my experience since my use of this location has always been as I was on the road traveling from the Upland area to the Lancaster/Palmdale region. I enjoy stopping to grab a cup of coffee to sip as I drive. So, for a grab-and-go type of location, this fits the bill perfectly. Perhaps Starbucks conducted a study and discovered that many of their customers were people like me who just needed a quick coffee but didn't require a place to enjoy it. At any rate, it is what it is, and in my experience, it's good at what it is. The service was fast and friendly, our drinks were hot and tasty, the restroom was clean, and I really had no complaints about my recent visit. I will definitely stop by again in the future when I'm on the road to somewhere.
