Watch out for WCFL's deceptive business tactics. While they may seem nice, WCFL does not have your best interest in mind. WCFL may cost you in the long run. My company is Valley Floor Installation. Here is my story.
I switched my General Liability insurance to WCFL in April 2019. In April of 2019, the CCB notified me I had two insurance policies running. I was told WCFL began my policy before the other policy ran out. The CCB informed me to contact WCFL, have them wait to start my insurance until my other policy ran. I contacted WCFL. They would not help me with this so, I paid an extra month. This should have been my first clue about WCFL's shady dealings.
I decided to not renew with them in 2021. In doing so, my insurance was cancelled and I was flagged by the CCB for not having insurance in April of 2021. WCFL now is attempting to collect a past due amount from April to July of 2021. Did you get that? WCFL notified the CCB in April that I did not have insurance yet they were still billing me for insurance. Although Tausha at WCFL was sympathetic about my situation, she was not able to makes things right. They want their money!
Now I am caught in the crossfire of WCFL and CCB. Neither will help make this right. It is sad to see Insurance companies such as (WCFL) and government regulators (Oregon CCB) taking advantage of small business owners.
