Stayed for 2 nights—overall, it was alright. Front desk staff were fine, nothing special. The hotel’s in an older building but looks like it’s been renovated recently. The room was pretty spacious, and the AC worked really well (almost too cold!). Bed was comfy, and there was a big sofa, though it smelled kinda funky. And heads up: the room isn’t soundproof at all, so you’ll hear hallway noise and neighbors pretty clearly.
They had a smart TV, but the smart features kept freezing up. There was a mosquito killer lamp, but it didn’t actually work. Water pressure in the shower was great, but the hot water wasn’t hot enough. Also, the room wasn’t cleaned properly—found a bunch of hair from previous guests, which was pretty gross.
On the plus side, the hotel has a well-equipped gym, which was a nice surprise. Breakfast was actually pretty good! Some of the local dishes like khao soi were delicious, and they had desserts too. Just wish the coffee was better—it definitely needs an upgrade.
