Leasing Specialist Shawn Paquette, you are truly amazing and a lifesaver. Stephens Pointe is the definition of "home." After living in many apartments over the years, I can confidently say Stephens Pointe is by far the best. Unlike other complexes where staff often treat it as just a job, here, it's clear they care about the residents. I've lived here for six years, and while things happen—bank accounts get hacked, unexpected bills pop up, or, in my case, payday falls on a holiday—Stephens Pointe has been understanding and supportive. When my paycheck was delayed and I tried to pay my rent late, I was initially told I needed a cashier’s check, and the money order I had purchased wouldn’t be accepted. This left me in a panic, as I didn’t have the extra funds to cover additional rent and was worried, I might lose my home. I returned to the Stephens Pointe office and explained the situation to Shawn. Not only did he empathize with me, but he also took immediate action, helping me navigate the refund process for the money order. His support made me feel valued and truly at home. A few days later, I received a call from Shelly, the community manager, following up on the situation. She checked in to see how I was doing and if I had received my refund, showing genuine care. She didn’t pressure me about paying rent or mention eviction—she simply wanted to make sure everything was resolved. In most apartment complexes, tenants can feel like just a number, but at Stephens Pointe, I feel seen, heard, and safe. That’s why I’m renewing my lease for the 7th year.
