Read MoreHighly recommend seeing Tia if you’re into the type of tattoo style she does! I had a series of bad tattoos that needed covering (I did go through laser treatments, also at slick vision which did greatly improve the coverup process. If you can do it, I highly recommend). I honestly didn’t think much going into my sessions with Tia (since I knew they were coverups and I’d be starting with a botched slate). However, she covered the old work up so well. Even I can’t really remember or see what was there before, that’s how well she did! She gave me entirely new pieces and I finally feel confident again.
Some other super great points about Tia/Slick Vision:
1) Everyone is welcoming. When you walk in you’re always greeted by every artist in there. The environment is positive right from the beginning, so you’ll never feel intimidated even if the shop is full of people.
2) The shop is super clean and everyone’s station is always organized neatly.
3) Tia is great at scheduling and communicating. She always is prepared when I reach out for an appointment. If anything ever comes up and we need a reschedule, not a problem. She communicates what’s going on and immediately offers new dates. She’ll also always send a message the morning of to reconfirm our appointment that day.
4) Tia made me feel so comfortable. I’m not super great at communicating anything pertaining to creative work, but Tia really took her time creating every piece (even if I probably made no sense at times or was nitpicky). If I pointed something out that I wanted tweaked, no problems or judgement. She always says “don’t worry, it’s my job.” That statement alone made me feel comfortable enough to point out changes.
Highly recommend slick vision and Tia! I’m definitely going to back and getting more work done in the near future.
