Sears as a service company is a whole different matter. Our experience with this company has been a disaster. This is the 7th scheduled visit for a technician to come and repair our Electrolux washer and dryer, which we just got on January 30th.
Calvin showed up originally, diagnosed our relatively simple issues and ordered the parts needed. Your company sent the wrong parts.
Calvin showed up for the second time and obviously couldn’t do the repair. He reordered the needed parts, and came back at a later date to find that , once again, the WRONG parts were sent. This happened once more since then.
At one point they scheduled for a different tech to show up, and the text link said he’d arrive by 11:15 that day. At 4:30 that day, while the app still said he’d arrive arrive by 11:15, I was sent a text that said “to accommodate your requested technician, your Sears service appointment has been rescheduled for 4/16/24.”
I never requested any specific tech, I sat around and waited all day, and they rescheduled this appointment without EVER asking me me if that date was good for me.
This whole thing seems like a really bad SNL skit. We had originally purchased the extended warranty in this washer and dryer. I was then told that their warranty was handled by Sears, so I will be cancelling that.
