Believe me, I did a LOT of research on hair and makeup artists, so trust me when I tell you to trust the great reviews, do not hesitate and book now, brides! The whole experience was great, and this was absolutely the easiest part of my wedding to plan/book. All the staff was wonderful, and their location gorgeous too.
I specifically worked with Dani Headley, and she is such a creative, professional, talented individual. My first hair and makeup trial was spot on, exactly what I wanted. Then when I called her months later saying I found a different, antique (slightly more difficult to work with) headpiece, she fit me in the schedule for another hair trial, listened to my vision and created another secure, gorgeous style with the new piece, leaving me feeling confident once again.
On the wedding day she arrived at our getting ready location on time, positive and ready to go. I was confident about her abilities, and so were my bridesmaids after she did all my bridesmaids for hair so quickly and off of what they wanted, even having never met them before (most were from out of state). She also did my mother-in-law's hair as well, leaving her feeling beautiful. My hair and makeup went off without a hitch as well. Payment on the wedding day was not confusing and easy to figure out.
Unsurprisingly, all of our hair was beautiful, looked professionally done and lasted ALL DAY long. The only thing I touched up on my makeup was the outer corners of my eyes after a couple happy tears escaped during the ceremony, but that was more of a personal preference to feel more "put together" again :)
Hopefully the photos do her work justice, and I will absolutely recommend Dani and Scottfree Salon for all brides and special occasions!
