Super disappointed because this place is so cute and affordable! I went in to get my hair cut and highlights touched up. I had never been here before so a stylist who was available was selected for me. I went in to see Rhonda and let her know I wanted my hair cut and discussed the highlight color I typically go for. I let her know I like the super icy white highlights and no warmth and nothing brassy. We started to do the color and she was friendly. As soon as we washed up and cut my hair immediately you could see the brassy color. My hair is brown so, when it is wet it’s hard to tell there is blonde in there. For you to see the brassy color while my hair is wet you could tell we went in the wrong direction from what I asked. She took me back to tone it and when we dried it there was a line of orange brassy color at my roots. I let her know I have some purple shampoo at home I can try. I was feeling really upset and anxious and wanted to leave. I just don’t understand how we went from my initial discussion, with no hesitation from Rhonda. To brassy and orange…
Upon checking out she said if I was still unhappy I could come back and see her.
I decided to see another stylist with a different salon. I didn’t feel comfortable going back. I have never had my hair come out this color when I’ve asked for ashy white highlights. I called the salon and asked them to leave a message for Rhonda to give me a call back and discuss a partial refund for just the color on the following Monday after she did my hair. I love the cut, and wanted her to keep her tip since she did spend time but the highlight came out no where near what we discussed. Rhonda texted me and asked to set up a time to come in. I explained I didn’t feel comfortable and just asked for a refund for the color. I am also moving to another state and had already gotten my hair fixed. No response. Texted her again on April 27th, no response. Again on April 30th, no response and again on May 4 and no response. All she had to do what tell me no, and I would have been fine. No response, I mean that is just ridiculous and unprofessional. Spending $166 to walk away feeling upset about my hair and not confident. You would think at least a response would be warranted. I called the salon today and asked to speak to the owner. The booths are rented out but I was hoping to have her assist in communication with Rhonda. Just to get some sort of resolve. Hopefully I’ll hear back soon. The salon is great and beautiful but this bad experience made me feel like I would never go back.
