I took my wedding tux and shirt to RedHanger to be pressed. When I arrived, the lady discouraged me wanting them pressed and not cleaned though they were brand new. She was not happy to help and didn’t like that I wouldn’t take her recommendation. I also explained to her that my shirt had tuxedo buttons that could potentially fall out but she said they would be fine and sent me on my way. When I returned the next day, the day of the wedding photo shoot, I picked up my tux and shirt and went home. Upon arriving, I realized that one of the tuxedo buttons was missing from the shirt and the shirt still had lines across the chest from being folded. I called RedHanger and they said it wasn’t on the ground or anywhere so I was out of luck. I then drove back to the store to discuss it and see if there was anything that could be done. The lady told me that she couldn’t do anything for me and that it was my fault for keeping the buttons in the shirt. She offered to sew on a normal button and when I said that wouldn’t work she said I should go to Michael’s to buy a button, and said they would most definitely have them. I asked her if there was any way she could help me out in anyway, and she said of course not, and again that it was my fault. After paying $20 to have these pressed for a wedding photo shoot, I was now missing an essential part of the tux, the classy black button that ties it all together, and my shirt still had lines across the chest from before.Every time I get my clothes cleaned or pressed at Red Hanger, something goes wrong, but this was ridiculous and the customer service was terrible. I will never return to Red Hanger for anything. They have lost my business, and my button.
