I have been a client with Philbin Insurance for several years, I have never had a problem with this insurance company until last week. My renewal policy payment was lowered through a verbal conversation with the rep I spoke to, she understood my financial hardship situation, and I’ve made the same amount payments for the most part from June until December, I was involved in a car accident that was not my fault with my child in the car, luckily my son was safe, However I was injured and my car was totaled. I received my insurance bill for December that was not accurate, When speaking to my “Rep”, She had informed me that I was going to receive a cancellation letter due to not paying the full amount of the bill which I’ve never done since the renewal start, I expressed I got the ok to pay a lower amount, However Instead of being sympathetic, or willing to work with me on my insurance bills, The owner of the company’s daughter Tara Sylvan was unsympathetic, arrogant, hostile, unprofessional toned of voice , and said “If I don’t pay the rest of the premium policy amount off before the cancellation date, My policy will be cancelled!” So anyone who has low income, involved in a car accident and can not get to a bank for funds to try and cover their insurance bill, I do not suggest this Insurance Company, Lynnfield, Or Everett office. The owner’s daughter in my experience is not understanding, courteous, or professional. I hope Andrew Philbin(Owner Of Company) will see this comment and I would like to thank one employee of this company for taking the time to listen , speak respectfully, and sympathetic for the unnecessary stress I had to deal with involving my “Rep”, and Ms Sylvan, Thankyou “Vinnie from the Beverly, MA branch”, your help and time was very much appreciated.
