Extremely poor customer service…. And that’s being VERY polite. You pay for insurance. You expect insurance services to be provided, right? Most would agree… but not Perry Hall Insurance.
Filed a claim about damage to my car. Noticed additional damage and attempted to amend the first claim. Got a message back, “why didn’t you report this with the other claim?” None of their concern. I paid for insurance, and I expect to be insured.
Same car lost power and needed to be towed for repairs. The insurance agent explicitly told me that they wouldn’t cover it and I was out of pocket. It was $9,000 dollars of damage. I insisted they send someone to inspect the vehicle, which she did… and it was found that the damage WAS covered. Too, the agent didn’t return calls, including an instance where I called her back a literal minute after she did. The process took a MONTH AND A HALF for my car to get fixed due to them dragging their heels.
Got a message asking if I had any questions about my insurance about to be renewed with them and raised these issues before telling them that I wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue. This would be a great time to figure out how to retain me or better serve their customers. Nope. I kid you not, the individual who I was emailing with essentially said “there’s the door.”
You don’t matter to them. They don’t want to help you, they don’t want to insure you, and they will give you all manner of trouble if you ask them to do what you pay them to do.
Do yourself, your family, and your property a huge favor and DO NOT insure with these people.
