Whoever said getting your battery changed is a simple process was a complete and utter liar! That is until I met Skyler.
My truck was acting sluggish when I was starting it for the past few days and my husband said “we are going to get a new battery”. We pull into O’Reillys because that is where we should have had the warranty of the last purchased battery. System glitches involved and they could not find it in the system. Regardless, we were going to get a new battery anyway, so we moved forward with the purchase.
Not only did Skyler update my account, my husband‘s account, go through the struggle of finding a battery for our truck, and installing it in this brutal Texas heat; he did it all with the smile on his face and explaining everything he was doing.
Our truck is not the easiest vehicle to exchange a battery in. We know this all too well. However, to have Skyler go through this entire process from beginning to end, and still not give up, was refreshing. The smile on his face was awesome. He was explaining everything step-by-step and explained what to look for as well going forward.
It is experiences like this that will ensure that we will continue to be a customer of O’Reilly’s going forward. If it were not for employees like Skyler, there would not be returned customers like my husband and myself. So I want to say thank you to Skyler & we will see you next time; whether it’s for my truck or my husband’s car.
