I had really bad experience with onshorekare.com. I had another travel insurance policy taken prior to travel from ICICI Lombard. Talked to onshoreKare.com customer executives and asked for a policy which covers COVID-19. They have recommended to buy Patriot America Plus. Also, there was no info related to COVID coverage in the policy documents. I repeatedly asked the question related to COVID coverage to multiple customer specialist agents. They all recommended to go for Patriot America Plus, which is pretty expensive. I purchased the policy trusting their service as advertised in the FM channel.
Later from some other sources I have realized that COVID-19 is not covered under this policy. Called up and emailed onshorekare.com customer support multiple times. There was no proper response and asked me to contact IMG. They are not even answering the phone calls. So please stay away from onshorekare.com. They do not provide any customer care after selling the policy. Also, do not believe what the agent is recommending. They are giving all the fake information and selling policies. Also, they are not providing any assistance in cancelling the policy. They are asking to contact IMG and get the cancellation done. I am still talking to IMG agents. After more than one month also, my policy is not cancelled.
I would recommend to stay away from onsharekare.com and their services.

How come you are willing to reply on a public forum? I did several emails/phone calls to OnshoreKare customer service. I was not getting any reply. Also, nobody was picking my phone calls. After I tried from another phone number, someone picked and gave some explanation as the representative do not have answers to any of my questions. On all the occasions, assured me that their manager will call me and talk to me. Nobody called me so far. Also no response to my emails. I have called up IMG and requested to cancel the policy. After that they responded. OnshoreKare did not do anything even after sending written complaints multiple times. When I bought the policy on April 20th, my only requirement was to get COVID coverage since I had travel insurance from another company. OnshoreKare sold me the wrong policy stating COVID treatment is covered. Even after asking the same questions to multiple agents multiple times, they repeatedly gave fake information. Now I need to cancel this policy and get my money back. At this point, I am not sure what is the state of my cancellation request. OnshoreKare said they are not responsible for anything after selling the policy. This is so unprofessional and unacceptable behavior to any customer! If you are willing to help on public forum, my request is to respond to my phone call/ email in person and address the concerns. Review is a by product of your service. Without doing your part, do not expect good reviews from customers. We are not fools!!!
