We hired NRH to do all the plumbing in our new home build. The service wasn't great from the beginning. We new that we had a few things that needed to be changed from our redline plan and asked if someone would meet with us out at the house to go over the changes. After asking several times I sent an email with the changes, however only a few of those actually got changed. The others were installed wrong, I had to contact them to tell them that it was not where those items belonged and in the end they tried charging me for those items that needed to be switched.About halfway through the job we had water coming in our basement. The week before they had put our septic pipe through our brick basement wall that is underground. Trying to get to the source of the problem we dug to where the pipe came outside and behind the insulation that someone nicely put back up against the wall (no glue, calk or waterproofing) was a huge hole that wasn't even covered/patched, NOTHING! Just a softball size hole left open. When calling NRH they were quick to come and look at the problem but then blamed it on the standing water on the Lower part of the house. Meaning the water ran 25 feet up hill and the softball size hole in the side of the house had nothing to do with the water coming in....!?!? The water was coming in 5 feet below where that hole was! There was never any compensation for that either and their fix was to squirt and entire bottle of waterproof foam into the hole that dried more like a cobweb. No calk around it or waterproofing, nothing. Needless to say we fixed it ourselves and still have minor water problems.Lastly, one of the plumbers was out one day doing some work and told us how much he liked the house he told his daughter and son in law about it as they were looking to build a house as well. He told us he had them stop out one day to give them a tour and that they decided that they were going to build it themselves as well. Ha! No permission, didn't ask, found our plan ID and copied it.I know the owner of NRH from HS, nice guy. I am sure they do great work fixing plumbing problems around your house. A one day, in and out but would strongly suggest not using them if it is a new home build. I have never written a bad review on google but wish I knew this before hiring them. Our h-vac and electrician were fabulous!
