Read MoreMiguel's office has been handling my insurance policies for about 14 years (since I started driving). Before that, his office handled my father's policies. At first, for me, it was just my vehicle but as I've grown older and acquired more things his office has helped my policy grow with me. He always quickly answers emails and phone calls. Recently, I emailed him about a discount for home security. He answered my question and also mentioned I should review my homeowners policy since it hadn't been update in about 3 years. I always appreciate a proactive agent! While Miguel is an amazing Agent, the star of his office is Barbara!!
Barbara has always treated me like family. She has always offered policies or coverage I NEED and never anything I don't (same with Miguel). When calling about anything she always asks how I'm doing and if I'm okay before starting the business side of our conversation. Any time there has been an issue my father would tell me "Call Barbara" because she has always handled things for us. She makes the stressful decisions (life insurance, homeowners policies, etc.) easier to make because she's friendly and knowledgeable. My father and I have often spoken about how amazing and helpful she is. There have been many times I have called with a question or to update a policy and from the very beginning she makes me feel like I'm talking to a close friend. I don't feel like I'm just a customer. I feel like she genuinely cares about me and my family and making sure we are covered if anything were to happen to us. I live about 200 miles North of Petaluma but I would never change my agent because Barbara is so pleasant and helpful. So, if you're reading this Barbara, THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart!
State Farm is a great insurance company. I've had accidents, my car has been stolen, and I've been part of a major fire in Northern California (Carr fire) and State Farm has always handled the heavy lifting for me. No one ever likes to make a claim but knowing that I have an insurance company who is there for ME and MY FAMILY helps me sleep better at night. They also have amazing discounts and, personally, I don't feel like I'm spending an unreasonable amount for the amazing service and coverage I'm getting. Especially after hearing people in my area say they've been dropped by their insurance companies after the Carr Fire.
Moral of the story, if you're looking for an amazing agent to handle all of your policies, call Miguel Alfaro's office and if Barbara answers tell her I said "hi!".
