Read MoreI used their services a little over a year ago. I got a brand new unit costing almost 16K and I've had nothing but troubles. It caused leaks in my drop ceiling in my basement (it still drips btw after they "fixed" it), it froze because they forgot to cut a return, and we originally thought we had an all electric unit that we discussed but after the furnace wouldn't start last winter we discovered it needed a "propane kit" that should have been apart of the unit price originally but they tried to charge us for it after the fact. To top it off "so it didn't freeze again" he made a custom return which required a custom return filter size. He sized it wrong with the side stickers and I can't even buy it from filterbuy.com. He stated "I'll have to just buy them from them because they are custom" AKA lazy. The last thing I want to do is buy anything from them or support their business again since they have caused nothing but headaches in my own personal home. I normally do not write poor reviews but the custom filters were the absolute last straw for this company. I would highly recommend staying away Herb and Devin and their heating and cooling business as they seem nice at first but they take several short cuts harming the client and only seeming to care about money.
