Former MARINE (now plumber), Sam Osborne, ALWAYS does an outstanding job!!! He was at our home all day yesterday. We had him change out every waterline, to every sink and toilet, to braided lines, and install quarter turn shut off valves. Also, he changed out a toilet to a comfort height style, and did a mini rebuild of two other toilets. This was routine work that we wanted done. Sam is professional, very courteous and friendly, and extremely tidy and meticulous in his work. After all, he’s a former Marine! God Bless him!🇺🇸 At the end of the day, Jeff (Sam’s boss) stopped by the house to drop something off for Sam. FedEx had literally just delivered an extremely heavy adjustable bed frame and mattress on my doorstep. Without hesitation, Jeff and Sam brought it inside and carried it downstairs where it needed to be. What a godsend for this 64-year-old woman!!! Just before leaving, Jeff looked out my back window and noticed a loose board on my back stairs. He told me he had some screws in his car and was going to tighten it up for me, and he did without charging me anything!!! Yes, Jeff a master plumber, tightened down the board so I didn’t have to call a Carpenter!!! How incredibly nice was that?!!! I would highly recommend this company. And, I will definitely request Sam for any future plumbing needs! After completing all the waterline installations, Sam turned all the water back on in the house and walked through our house twice to make sure there was no problem, no leak. Everything was perfect. Sam is a fast worker but extremely thorough, meticulous, and clean. THANK YOU!Update 11/10/22Seth (Coast Guard veteran) performed an annual inspection of our HVAC and found some issues with our 18 year old system. We decided to go ahead and have it changed out before we had a problem. Tyler (former volunteer fire fighter) and Darren (former Marine)did an outstanding and amazing job at meticulously installing our huge HVAC system, all in one day! They were here from 9 AM until almost 10:45 PM that night! They insured the entire process was put together flawlessly and set up our system to best meet the needs of our home rather than simply leaving it on the factory settings. I was in incredibly impressed with their work ethic! THANK YOU!UPDATE: 8/22/23 JJ did an incredibly extensive diagnostic testing of our new (and very expensive) HVAC system. We were SO impressed with his immense thoroughness, knowledge and experience. JJ was very respectful to us and of our home. We highly recommend JJ and HELP for your service needs. GREAT customer service when you call in to schedule appointments!… They are always pleasant and very helpful.***One of THE MOST responsive, and best customer service experiences, anywhere!!! They truly want to “make you smile!” It’s not just a cute tag line.HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!

Update: 10/24 - This went from great to bad.I started using HELP this summer when my other company told me they no longer had plumbers or electricians. I spent $6500 for the work you can see in my reviews below.Just a few weeks ago (October) I had them return for some additional plumbing issues that came up. During their assessment the problem got larger and we discovered pin hole leaks in my downstairs pipes. The bill was >$8,000 for replacement of >30’ of copper, a new whole house water treatment system (chlorine killed the copper) and a slew of other things. As the workers were finishing up, I noticed that they had gotten solder on a bunch of spots on the carpet in my finished basement. I pointed it out to the plumber, his response was “I must have missed the cardboard box.” The cardboard box? Why wouldn’t you put a tarp down or a welders blanket so you don’t have to worry about missing a random cardboard box? There is solder that has melted spots in my carpet and is embedded into the fibers.I asked what they would do and he said he would take some pictures and sent them to his boss and they would get back to me. It’s been over a week and I have heard nothing. I can’t try and pull it out with heat as the temperature necessary will melt my carpet further, I can’t cut the spots out without my carpeting looking like the mange. I’ve spent over $14,500 with this company in just 2.5 months. I also discovered that one of my drop ceiling tiles also looks sooty probably from the butane torch during soldering.Now, I will say the workers were friendly and worked hard to finish the job in one day and were at our house until 6pm on a Friday (with an 8am start time). Still, I expected them to treat my house with a bit more respect and certainly to at least check in on any collateral damage from their work, especially damage that could have been prevented with 20 extra seconds and a $5 Harbor Freight Tarp/BlanketIf you decide to have HELP come and do any plumbing and you have any flooring other than tile, you better insist they put down tarps to catch any solder in case they “miss the box.” I doubt you’ll hear anything from their customer service. I might need to rethink that HELP service plan going forward.July 2024 - Rick was very polite and very thorough and showed up on the same day as my call for HELP (pun intended). He listened to my plumbing issues and complaints and went about quickly diagnosing the issue. He suggested a replacement of a faulty pressure regulator and our water softener. I balked at the softener based on price until he did the replacement of the valve and showed me there would still be some issues. Based on that I decided to go ahead with the water softener as well. I also signed up for the monthly service since HELP is now my go to for plumbing and electrical needsJuly 2024 - Tyler was at the house to install a ceiling fan. He actually offered several options I had not thought of and then got the parts he needed. My wife loved the new ceiling fan with independent dimmer switch and fan speed adjustable switch. Loving HELP more and more. Plumber just arrived to replace water softener. I think with the amount of work they have done in the past week for me I should be a “Titanium HELP member.” :-)

I've had multiple interactions with the H.E.L.P crew and can confidently say they are wonderful and genuine people. The plumbers came back and finished the job. I've had my furnace inspected and attic since then. Most recently, Jerry came out to inspect my attic. He was immediately my kind of person to, "see a need, fill a need". I've had this dog cage in my living room for a few months when I was helping a rescue, but couldn't break down the cage. Jerry immediately said "oh I can do that" and got it taken care of. He spoke to me with respect as "homeowner to homeowner", despite the age gap between us. I'm so grateful to have had all these experiences, feel respected, and have confidence my home is in good care. Thank you!~J (11/9/2024)________________________Three stars indicates the job was done as expected, the service personnel were timely, respectful, and informative. All of my questions were answered and I felt I had a good understanding of the work being performed in my home.A five star experience would've included them being more mindful of their environment; through the air vent I heard, "nah that's fine I don't get paid enough for that". Also more attention to detail, I did have to clean up a fair amount of scrap and debris, especially from inside the bathroom access point. It's these little details that would reassure me the work was being performed at an excellent standard that these people would feel safe having in their own home.In retrospect, I wish the salesman would have educated me on the reasons why their company only installs copper, and what other options are out there. This could be a selling point for HELP.I communicated with the salesman via text about my questions, which loses connotation, but felt mild judgement towards my lack of knowledge on the chosen material for the job. That was the only time I felt disrespected being a novice, female homeowner.Overall, I'd get a second opinion if I could go back in time. There was also a miscommunication about a portion of the work needed on the water heater. I expected it be fixed based on the sales conversation, but it wasn't upon completion of the job. Considering all I've said above, I'm assuming they won't be performing that work and I'll drop it from there.Live and learn.~J (fall 20204)
