Review specifically for Briana! My last few haircuts were horrible at other salons, so bad that I hadn't had a cut in nearly a year because I had been so devastated. I explained it to her and she was very understanding, agreed with the issues I was seeing with the previous cuts. I was super nervous but she made me so much more comfortable by asking me about my life instead of lecturing me about my naturally curly texture or pushing products on me as other salons have done. She gave me a blowout after the cut per my request because I don't like other people styling my curly hair for me, so I can edit my review once I do it with my natural hair texture but so far I am very happy. It's been 8 days and I STILL have beautiful body and flips from the blowout. A bit of dry shampoo after a few days but otherwise I've not had to touch it. I would happily go back in-between cuts just to have her wash/blow dry for me!! This was also way more affordable than any salons I've gone to in at least 2 years. I will attach pictures, unfortunately didn't take any the day of the cut when it's at its most shiny and fresh look, but the ones I am posting are 7 days after, holding up well even through my sweaty workouts and I feel that says a lot. I used to be a hairstylist, so getting my hair done can be stressful for both me and my stylist—hair stylists usually make the worst clients. But I have continuously had a great experience with the different stylists I have seen at Hair Rx. I always get what I want. And they can fix my mistakes after I've been cutting my own bangs in the bathroom! They're all very skilled, and I would trust any of them implicitly. Also, the salon is beautiful! It's bright, airy, clean and open. I love this place. I first came in January after my normal Ulta stylist seriously butchered my hair on the day of my senior prom. I had Brittany, and she did me right. I have super thick and dense hair, and I’ve always been cautious about getting it cut right. Brittany knew exactly what to do with my usually difficult hair. I can proudly say that 7 months later, my hair doesn’t feel nearly as heavy and suffocating as it would with other stylists after 3. I came back to get highlights done and I love what Katie did with my hair. She understood my vision, and was so fun to talk to. It cost me less than I expected, and came out perfect. Overall, this salon is incredible and I would recommend it to anybody and everybody. The atmosphere is comfortable but clean, and you can tell that all of the stylists genuinely enjoy working together, which is always a good sign. They always answer the phone promptly, everyone is super polite, and scheduling is made so easy. It borders on being coarse. The top layer of my hair is wavy, but the bottom layer is super curly, which makes it extra challenging. They handled it like it was no big deal. Stylist Brittany did my incredible haircut, Dayna did a specialized treatment that made my hair feel and look so healthy, and Katie did my partial beautiful highlights!

I just experienced one of the worst encounters I’ve ever had with an appointment in my entire life. I came in for a simple trim, where all I needed was for my hair to be sprayed with the bottle and trimmed. My hair is all one length and super easy to trim. I saw Alyssa, who I saw last time and she did great last time and it was all even. What just happened to me felt like I met a different person. I sat down and Alyssa began berating me that my hair was not a maintenance cut and she didn’t have time for me (mind you I’m already sitting with the black protector on). I explained that I had told the secretary exactly what I needed, and Alyssa referred to my cut as a maintenance cut last time (as noted on my account). She started yelling loudly in front of everyone that it was going to be $75, that she didn’t have time for a wash and blow dry. I finally calmed her down and explained that I don’t want my hair washed, just a simple trim at the ends. She finally calmed down and said she could cut it dry, as I’m sitting there about to cry because I’m being yelled at in front of everyone. At the end i immediately saw it wasn’t even, however I was terrified to point it out because she was already being horrible to me. Now I am sitting in my car crying because my hair is completely uneven. She just chomped it off as fast as she could, and now I know why. As soon as I got into the car and began crying to my husband, she ran out with her bag and gave me the most horrible smirk as she walked by. I’ve never been treated so badly. I was so kind and patient with her even when she yelled at me. I’m such a quiet person, and I get a small maintenance trim once a year. It’s a very easy cut. She didn’t even take the time to make sure it was even. I I’ve been coming here for years, and I’ve never had a problem. I’ve contacted the owner and sent pictures and she still hasn’t replied to me. At this point I’m contacting my bank for a charge back. Here’s a photo of the horrible botched job. DO NOT GO HERE OR HIRE ALYSSA. SHE IS A MONSTER. UPDATE: I was going to edit my review to say the owner finally refunded me. However, I am no longer able to compliment her for refunding it as she is clearly lying in her review. The cameras will clearly show her stylist yelling at me and then at the end apologizing over and over for her over reaction. My picture shows the horrible cut I received. Nothing was fabricated, why would I fabricate such a ridiculous story? What motive do I have? All I get is a simple trim. Shame on you (the owner) for trying to turn the story around and not just admit your stylist was completely out of line. You’d receive more respect for that than lying. You can clearly see in any video (which I’m assuming you’re lying about because it was so obvious) me staring at Alyssa in completely shock not knowing how to respond or answer, and me explaining that what I needed was very simple and easy. She even put her arms around my neck to “ fake hug” to try and apologize for her craziness. Don’t you lie. Shame on you. DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION EXTRA UPDATE: The owner has actually come back and completely changed her response to my review and lied and said I hugged the stylist 😂 what an obvious lie. And she never contacted me right away I have texts to prove it. This woman is insane. I’ve never seen an owner lie like this. I will make sure every mom group knows what they did to me and how they lied. It’s craziness. Luckily my hair will grow back, but for the women out there who have trouble regrowing hair or put pennies together to be able afford fancy hair dye, please don’t risk it.

I have tried a couple of different salons over the past few years. This is definitely my favorite. It was easy to book my appointment. I was able to get the exact cut I wanted. My stylist worked with me to find the coloring I wanted. I'm so happy I have found a place that can work with my hair type. Just want to thank Kim for her excellent haircut and style today. I had medium to long hair and after gallbladder removal needed something easy but cute. The stylists at this salon are top-notch! I have had my hair done by Katie several times and always had fantastic experience. I have hard to color gray, and they do a phenomenal job covering it up. Been going here for years and the staff and service are amazing. Very friendly, helpful, will either cut my hair exactly how I ask for it, or, talk me through ideas and styles that will help with my receding hairline and big ol' forehead (or if I'm just in the mood to try something new). Similarly, they've helped get me on a hair regrowth plan that has actually made my hair grow back and looking thicker and fuller than it has in a long time. It's a very welcoming/judgement free environment for men, and they have really fun customer appreciation nights throughout the year that are great for the whole family. I've seen a lot of their stylists over the years and they're all fantastic. Recently I've been seeing Ash and she's got me rocking a stylish new look/cut that not only I love...but more importantly my wife loves!
