Read MoreMy experience: 5My husband was on a fishing trip and I really wanted my son to get his first haircut that day. This place came HIGHLY recommended by several people, so it was an easy decision.When I got there I walked in and IMMEDIATELY walked out because it was a bit much for me. I was going into male territory! Thankfully, a gentleman saw me leave out and approached me respectfully outside. I told him why i walked out, and he calmed my nerves. I told him who I was recommended to, and what to expect. He escorted me back inside and I met Trey. He treated our son great! He had long hair and it was his 1st cut, so I was afraid that he would cry. He didn't. He warmed up to Trey, and i loved the end results. I can say that my son has his official first barber.Atmosphere: 5I don't know what made me think this way, but I was expecting an unkempt barbershop. I was wrong. It was very clean and aesthetically appealing. There was also adequate seating to seat customers and my family who came to support my son's important cut. The only thing I didn't like was the loud music in the back, but then again - all music is loud to me even at a low decibel so I'm not faulting them for that. I noticed that their clientele was diverse, so I think it would be nice to switch up the genre of music. Maybe throw some Maroon 5 or Adele in the mix lol.Friendliness/courtesy: 5At one point I had to walk to the back to check on my son while he was getting shampooed. Not sure if I walked in front of a gentleman while he was talking or if he said something unpleasant, but he immediately acknowledged my presence and offered a sincere apology. Didn't know what he was apologizing for, but it was appreciated. I believe this same barber came around and shook all the customer's hands before he left. Very personable!Overall Exp: 5/5WE WILL BE BACK!
