Fusion Salon in Hollywood

I'd like to share my experience and results of my visit at Fusion salon. So I was recommended by a good friend to try this new Dominican spot to get my hair done for my baby shower. I don't like straightening my hair as I am 4c(?) Natural and Florida weather is so humid. This weekend in particular I wasn't even going to go because it had been raining all day and has been raining since (got my hair done September 22nd. Today is the 29th). So needless to say, natural hair getting straightened in rainy weather is no good. But I wanted to look nice for my baby shower even if it was going to be for one day. I asked the lady (Winnie) if there was any treatment I could do to make my hair last just a bit longer than usual. My hair was in horrible condition as u will see in the pictures. Super dry. Hadn't had a trim in over a year. Just left conditioner in it and would slick it back with gel and that's it. Pregnancy didn't help my hair (I'm 8.5 months). It made it worse. So when she suggested the hair Botox I figured why not. It has been a while since I gave myself and my hair love so I decided to spend the extra money since I had done a bit of research on hair Botox anyway and wanted to try it out eventually. Winnie talked me through the whole process, educating me on the benefits and what it would do to my hair and how this was a better option compared to keratin (which I had tried in the past) since I am pregnant and it is chemical free. I was sold when she told me I wouldn't lose my natural hair texture. It would just have less of the dry frizz because my cuticles would be nourished and it would be locked in and sealed. I am so happy I decided on going with her suggestion. She had to reassure me a few times that the end result would be worth the questionable in-between I saw in the mirror. But, a week later and my hair is as silky and straight as it was when I left the salon. Humidity and rain and all. Obviously I am not wetting my hair. I put a bonnet cap on at night. I haven't even wrapped it once. Not even the night of though she suggested I did. I can't stop touching my hair. Just like Winnie said would happen. I play with my hair all the time. I feel like a white girl fresh from the salon. No offense. But for a black girl to feel that way when just last week her pregnancy mane was a dry and tangled mess amidst rainy and humid Florida weather means a BUNCH. IDK how my hair would have faired with a regular blowout but I know this hair Botox is the truth. I am a bit eager to see if my hair really will go back to my regular natural hair when I finally wet it (just healthier of course) so that'll be the tell tale sign that this hair Botox is legit. But at this point what Winnie has told me has held true so I have faith that this isn't a relaxer in disguise. If you're looking for a good Dominican spot to get ur hair done in the area, give this place a try. Especially if you want to try the hair Botox that's been gaining popularity. You won't be disappointed. Mind you, I have NEVER written a review before and I had to let some time go by to make sure this was worth the time. And it is. I approve. And I will be back for my protein treatment. Suggested by Winnie. And I knew I needed one. That's how I know she's not lying to me just to get more money in her pocket. She knows her hair. Fyi the last three pictures are of my hair today. I showed my car window to prove it's been raining and how fabulous my hair still looks. Oh also, I haven't put a flat iron to my hair once since last week. Not even for a touch up. I just take my black bonnet cap off, flip my hair to the side, maybe, then walk out the door. New hair who this!? Color correction with highlights with deep conditioning treatment and a trim after trying to remove the black I previously had on my hair. This was my first time coming to Fusion Salon and Ana made me feel so comfortable and at ease. From the moment I walked in 'till the very end! She's been a cosmetologist for many years and her knowledge is evident! She did such an amazing job, I can't wait to see it in curls! What do you guys think? Drop a comment below.

Second time I come the salon and both times I have had a great experience. First time they took me in as a walk in and worked me to their schedule. Lais corrected a bad haircut I gotten and worked her magic. Now the second time she did color corrector and I am beyond happy. Looking forward to working with her and Ana to get my hair healthy and beautiful.

Believe the reviews. They are real! I wanted to get highlights in my hair for the first time and I was nervous because I have herd all the horror stories. I have very difficult hair, but I saw some of the work they have done at Fusion so decided to give it a shot. Both Ana and Sandra were amazing and super nice! I brought in a picture of what I wanted and my hair came out PERFECT! I'm so happy. I will defiantly be coming back

I’ve been going to Ana for over 6 years, and she’s truly amazing! Her magical hands have worked wonders for my hair growth, I wouldn’t trust anyone else to cut my hair. Even after moving, I fly back just to see her for my cuts and style. Highly recommend!

My husband bought a gift certificate from here on a whim. Ana was amazing from the very first phone call I made to schedule the appointment. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I have to say this was the best hair salon experience I have ever had. Ana really knows what she’s doing. I am experiencing hair loss due to breastfeeding. And she knew exactly what to do to help treat my hair to make it healthy again. And even recommended waiting on highlights until my hair is healthier. The haircut is the best cut I’ve ever had. Truly a wonderful place.

To be honest, I walked in Ana’s salon this past weekend with my tail tucked between my legs. My hair was in bad shape. From the moment I walked in, Ana introduced herself and asked if I had an appt which I did. She then introduced her assistant Scarlet who began washing my hair. Whom I may I add did a phenomenal job. To be honest, I didn’t look at any reviews before visiting this salon. I have a friend who always has her hair very well taken care of. Long, abundant, and most importantly healthy. I’m glad I was recommended here because I walked out like a new person. Ana NEVER once made me feel ashamed of the condition of hair. Instead she provided her input on how to bring it back to life. I’ll be back 100%

I have been coming here for a about 9 years and all I can say wonderful thing about the entire staff and also Anita the owner I absolutely love her. She does a fantastic job with coloring my hair, no one can Blow dry my hair better than her which is very difficult especial with curly hair like mine. Anita goes out of her way to make me feel at home, She is a happy and pleasant person to talk to, full of great and positive energy, I always leave satisfied and with exactly what I came for. I highly recommended you try them out. The salon is super cute with a clean, and Well educate employees just like her. We love you my Anita😍❤️

I can't even begin to tell you how perfect Ana is! I had refused to go to beauty parlors due to the long wait, incorrect hair colors and just not what I wanted... But since I have put my trust and my hair into Ana's hands.... my hair has never looked better! It is the color I want, the style I look good in and no waiting!! Ana gives you honest advice about what she thinks is best for you,,, but allows you to make your own decisions-no judgement! And best of all she uses the best hair products that keep my hair super healthy!!! The wonderful Genesis who washes my hair has the best hands- my hair always feels super clean and my head tingly!
