Read MoreQuite simply, Melissa saved the day for me and a friend of mine! Not knowing any better, I treated a friend to a $250 gift card at a local salon (Aqua Salon). She went there, and unfortunately, Aqua's stylist ruined my friends hair completely...just destroyed it to the point that she was in tears when she called me after. Frantic, I called around and some friends strongly suggested I see Melissa at Flaunt Salon. I called, showed Melissa the pics of the damage done, and she said "Send her down here today at 2." Bear in mind it was a Saturday and she took us on short notice because she could see how crucial it was to get the hair disaster fixed right away. And boy, did she ever fix it! She immediately identified the incorrect things that were done at the other salon, with the help of her great assistant Jamie went to work doing what was needed- wash out the horrible purple orange and silver stripes, refoil and correct the color to what she had wanted, and said that we could come back and finish up anything, and it was included in the original charge, which was quite fair. (This contrasted greatly with Aqua, who charged 250 for the original botch job, then the stylist tried to rip us off and charge another 160 to finish the bottom foil...who takes 5 hours then a second day for a foil??) They burnt my friends scalp badly too :( , and also refused any kind of refund even though the pictures were undeniable!) Thankfully, Melissa came through big time... I was impressed so much at how Melissa took us in right away, the fun and relaxing atmosphere, but also her skill at repairing a total disaster. Her and Jamie made my friend feel comfortable right away, even though she was really upset before we got there. Not to mention she saved me from being the jerk friend who sent someone on a gift card for a nightmare do! I reccomend anyone to go here first and avoid a disaster, but if someone screws up your hair, Melissa and her staff can and will fix it.
