In October of 2022, I realized that billing had continued. I reached out to Scott a second time, whereupon he requested (another) copy of my bill of sale. I sent it same day - he responded that the policy would be canceled.
Billing continued. I called him on the first of March, 2023, and he confirmed that he had received the previous bill of sale and that he would cancel the policy and provide me with a refund.
Today, 3/15/2023, I sent him an email and called him 3 times during the first 2 hours of his business day (as reflected on his website AND Google). He refused to answer or respond.
I called Farmer's Insurance directly, spoke with two very sympathetic and helpful team members, and learned that Scott had not even bothered to stop the continued billing moving forward. I filed a formal complaint against Scott, canceled my policy, and had a refund processing in less than 30 minutes.
Do not, under any circumstances, rely upon this agency for something as vital as Insurance. Do so at your own risk.
