We hired Dudek Exteriors to replace a couple of Pella windows based on my neighbors recommendation. One was a bay window that could not be opened and another one had rotted out on the bottom.
He explained everything upfront: The timeframe for getting the windows ordered, how long installation would take, whether we wanted the interior frame to be white or keep it as wood since the existing windows were wood. He mentioned that wood does cost more and the fact that you can get a close, but not a perfect match to the existing windows.
He was always prompt and kept us updated as to when the windows should be coming in, when the windows did come in, and a date/time to do the installation.
I am going to have him replacing one of the entry doors to the garage that has rotted out on the bottom and gets stuck.
Update: New door installed! I uploaded a couple pictures of the old door and the new door!
OLD DOOR: The threshold on the old door was rotted and rusted out. You can also see the doorframe had a decent sized gap between the doorknob striker and strike plate. The frame was no longer square either and the door was hard to open and close.
NEW DOOR: New frame, new door, new threshold, and the door swings inward instead. It seals well and it is smooth opening and closing!

If you’re looking for doors or windows, don’t bother looking anywhere else. I went through getting multiple quotes with questionable companies and contractors, luckily I found Dudek! No one else explained the work needed to the level Derek did with absolutely no pressure, he just tells it straight and lets you decide.
I had Dudek Exteriors replace three windows at my old house and he did a phenomenal job, so I used him again at our new house. He replaced three exterior doors, one of which was a very customer/unique size, two screen doors, and a slider window. As always the workmanship is top notch quality, fast, and an excellent value. Derek leaves the house as clean as when he arrives and clearly communicates the project timeline and when he will be able to complete the install. Couldn’t be any happier with the results and will be using him when replacing the remain 18 windows.

Dudek Exteriors did an absolutely wonderful job at my house and I couldn’t be happier. The owner personally came out, gave the estimate and preformed the work himself. He was punctual, on time and exceeded expectations. We had a minority issue with the new installation and he volunteered to come back and show us what the issue was. Turns out it was user error. Thankfully for the multiple 5 star reviews on goggle or I would have never found them. Highly recommend them to anyone who reads this review. Nice work!

Dudek Exteriors is a great company to call if you are in the need for windows, roofing or gutters. I personally got new windows in half of my house. They were a fraction of what another company would charge and they are high quality. When I say a fraction, I mean about 60% less than I was quoted by other competitors. Derek was great with communication from day one and the job went seamlessly front start to finish. Call them if you are in need. You won’t be disappointed and you won’t find a better deal out there. The company is in the Chicagoland area, but I live in NW Indiana, so they come that way, also. Thanks Derek! Job well done!!
