Thankfully, it was as simple as the rooms not being controlled by the thermostats we thought controlled them. Now that we know which thermostats to use, we can cool the rooms appropriately.
I'm sure this sounds like a very basic thing, but Commander Air was the second AC company we called to consult on the issue. Apparently, the first company didn't look to see which thermostats controlled which rooms. Having Commander Air figure that out probably saved us hundreds, if not thousands, in unnecessary expenses. It was definitely worth a service call.
We'll be using Commander Air moving forward.
