Read MoreThis has been our go-to Claire’s for our daughters. Never had an issue until today. Might be the first review I’ve ever posted for anything. We showed up at 3:40 PM this Saturday afternoon for one of our daughters to use a gift card from Christmas, and a sign on the door said they were closed, but returning at 4:00 PM after a break. No biggie. We waited in parking lot for 20 minutes and noticed an employee go to the door for what we assumed was to take down the sign. However upon going back to entrance, the sign had been changed to 4:20 PM, still for a break. We are now waiting again. I’m not mad, but it does seem odd for a retail store to close down for a 40 minute “break” on a Saturday afternoon. Posting this just in case a manager may see it and want to address the situation. Seems some employees may just be taking advantage of some paid R&R. 6 families have come and gone. I’m sure Claire’s is fine without the business, but that’s not the point. I’m committed to the wait regardless because I have a 5-year-old who has been asking for a week to go shopping, and no other stores that I know of accept Claire’s gift cards. Again, love this particular store. Probably been here at least 5 other times with completely pleasurable experiences, but just a bit irked at today’s situation.
