Terrible salon results and bad experience. I booked a classic spa manicure and jelly pedicure only for Nov 16. I tend to document very well before during and after services for the very reasons that I’m writing this review. Waking into the salon, I was greeted by a host/receptionist female who asked my name and asked me to type in my name and service. I reminded her that I booked my services and they were with John. I asked her to confirm please. She confirmed she did see the booking. She asked me to proceed typing in what I wanted anyways. I pulled out my phone and typed in the exact services I booked from the pic of my booking that I saved. She asked me to choose a color..pointing to the wall of nail polish. I was standing looking at the natural nail colors. She told me “no” get the book.” I asked “are those natural nail colors? because I don’t want gel nails” I asked this approx 4 times before my service began. She stated “yes. The book is for natural nails and gel nails” she repeated herself when I asked again for clarification and she told me to take the book to the chair. I picked a color with the help Of Mimi who did my pedicure. She asked about “ gel?” And I answered “ no gel. I don’t want gel nails” she said “ok.” John came over to do my manicure and I stated “I don’t want Gel nails I want natural nail color.” He said ok. After approximately 3 minutes of soaking the receptionist came over with a ticket and gave it to John. I don’t know anything about Gel process so I am thinking I am getting natural nail process. I know I didn’t want gel bc like to wear natural nails. My nails and skin are in great condition before coming in, In terms of strength and integrity. Th only step I didn’t recognize was when John put me my hands in a box a few times and I honestly assumed it was a dryer bc I had reinforced that I wanted natural polish several times and I booked for a natural manicure. When I went to pay…the receptionist/host promptly quoted me well above what I booked for and I knew there was a problem. When I asked her to explain, her tone changed from the earlier kind to now defensive and abrupt. She stated you got gel polish and it’s $30 more. I explained that I booked for natural and that I confirmed with her and the staff over 4 times that I did not want gel. She repeated herself and insisted I asked for gel. She said we can take them off and redo them for natural nail. I believe that was an attempt to get me to concede to her up charges but I did not bc I was very clear from the beginning. That is why I booked online. She left the desk and came back. She said she’d would remove the charge and stated both techs confirmed I said gel. I knew I was dealing with dishonesty bc none of that was true. Her tone became annoyed and we completed the process of payment. I had to ask for a receipt. when I got in the car, I realized I was given a cash register receipt and not a credit card receipt that I asked for. 3 days later, my nails beginning peeling of significantly. I had to wear gloves to style my hair or get dressed bc they were snagging things and not easy to remove. Part of the gel nails remained sealed and the other half was not. I called the nail salon to report my issue. I was booked to return in a couple of days for a fix. I received fox job and left without a thank you from the same receptionist who was there Nov 16. Before getting the fix, she made sure to tell me that I have no guarantee on the natural nails and I would have to pay to get the gels redone. She seemed aggravated with me but I was ok with that. I just wanted the experience to be final. Today my cuticles are torn, peeling, sore, snagged. The manicurist clipped my cuticles and these are the result. I now have to nurse my hands back to health. Lesson learned. I will not be returning. Maybe this place’s specialty is exotic, non-natural nail services which is all I saw during the fix procedure. AMAZING experience at Castle Nail Bar in Alpharetta! The service was great and they really took their time with the services to make sure everything looked exactly like I wanted it. My pedicure almost put me to sleep that’s how good it was. Definitely give them a try if you are in the area and even if you aren’t they are worth the drive! I came here for the special of getting a gel pedicure and a set for free. I quickly changed my mind about getting a new set after my horrible experience with my pedicure. I upgraded my pedicure to a jelly pedicure. One of my friend was sitting next to me and got the same pedicure. We both got different experiences. The tech didn’t ask me if I wanted the nails cut down. She told me she would add acrylic to 1 of my toes because it was uneven. However, proceeded to do both toe nails. On top of the added acrylics both toes look uneven. In addition, the jelly service wasn’t a full jelly service and my friend had to ask her to redo the jelly. The same tech was going to do my set, but again I wasn’t heard and had to ask twice to have a different tech do my nails. I went with a safe choice of getting a fill in. The receptionist did apologize but didn’t ask to make it right. She justified the mistake by saying it was a language barrier, which I get. However, she should’ve had another tech make it right. Furthermore, it seems they don’t take sanitary precautions and it’s not a priority for them and they falsely advertise their special. It’s a free set with a gel pedicure but the shape and length is not included. I will not be going back and I highly recommend people to stay away from this place.

My first time here was a 10/10 experiance. I waited less than 5 minutes to be seated for my pedicure with Huygo who did a great job. Hellen did a great job on my nails! They even allowed me to use one of the wax rooms to breast feed my baby! Price $60–80 Services Nail art, Acrylic nails, Pedicure
