I have never had a worse experience renting from a property management company as I had here. When we first moved in, the ladies in the front office seemed wonderful - they even stopped by our first day to check in on us, which I thought was very considerate. As time went on, little red flags popped up such as aggressively-written emails to their tenants and cursing at their tenants (including myself).
Towards the time of our move-out date, I stopped by the office, and Kim H. who is without a doubt a pathological liar was on the phone with the manager, Mary Fay, and I apologized and said I could come back thinking she needed to be on the phone. She rolled her eyes and said "what?! what do you want?". I asked how much they would charge if we did the carpet steam cleaning through them, she asked Mary Fay on the phone and said oh it's just $65. I said great because the cheapest I could find was for $89. Upon checkout, they billed us for paint (we scrubbed the walls and never hung ANYTHING up), missing components of a bathroom (were marked as missing in our move in checklist), and steam cleaning (for around $130). When I asked about the incorrect billing, I was bombarded with all three ladies saying we never told you that, you're a liar, and you're making this up?! When I explained to them what happened, they actually sat there and wouldn't speak - silence.
This place is nowhere near capable of holding up to agreements, nowhere near capable of being professional, and I would never recommend anyone renting from them. I understand it was my fault for not getting this in writing, but for their first reaction to be yelling and calling me a liar shows they know how in the wrong they were. When I finally got down to the point of the argument, they said well somebody's gotta pay for it. I told them I didn't want to pay for their miscommunication or mistakes and they again just stared at me. Horrible experience.
Oh, lastly we paid for wifi and internet for months through their management without receiving it. We called Spectrum and talked to several people who all independently said the property manager was so rude and wouldn't let them in to fix the outage so they weren't allowed back on until later. They of course wouldn't prorate rent even though they weren't getting billed.
