Read MoreI had Blue Sky Roofing come and reroof my low pitched 1960s spilt level roof and attached garage in Bremerton. I am VERY pleased with the quality of the work and, certainly, the price. Paul listened to my wishes, and presented me with options. He did not push any agenda.
One thing I appreciated especially about Blue Sky was that they have their own contacts for related elements, like gutters, and included that work in their bid. (Prior roofing bids I got involved me then having to coordinate and pay gutter installer separately, would then make finish work my problem).
Blue Sky Roofing assessed the supply needs and placed the order so I could pay their rate for materials. There was rotten wood & fascia that they replaced from their own supply. They enlarged my gutter drain holes, added new drains, and already had the gutter installers on deck the same day.
They did not start the work when we had unexpected rain in order to protect the integrity of the structure. We then had an unexpected heatwave, but to my surprise, they were up there, doing the work anyway.
These guys really go out of their way on cosmetics. Just beautiful, even though it was easily 120-130 degrees up there. There wasn't a giant crew it was actually the owners doing the work!
The main thing I would recommend them for is value, followed by the all inclusive bid (that did not change, even though there were unexpected expenses that they just ate). Next I would say communication was really great, and finally that they weren't taking on part of a job, but the WHOLE job; so I didn't have to worry about anything myself. Whoever their gutter person is, why, they're just great too!
They definitely underbid for the work they did, but took all extra expenses upon themselves and wouldn't let me pay the extra. (Stop doing that, guys!) Highly recommend this company.
