Read MoreIt was just by chance that I had gotten an appointment with Alicia my very first time there. I have the darkest brown hair you can have before actually having black hair. I presented her with my idea….BLONDE!!! She was extremely upfront and honest with me from the get, letting me know that it’s going to be a process, it’s going to take time, and it’s going to be a financial investment. I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of as she laid it all out from the start. She let me know that she will absolutely do her best to get me what I want and always let me know if it becomes unrealistic and we we figure it out together. Keeping the integrity of my hair was priority for her which I greatly respected. After 4 sessions, we came to the conclusion that we needed to foil the heck out of my hair, painting just wasn’t going to cut it. Ohhhh and just to make things interesting, the blonde was pulling out green from when I dyed my hair violet a year ago so she had to battle with that as well. Alicia was up against many challenges. She texted me on a Wednesday and asked if I was able to come in tomorrow (Thursday) on her day off so she could just focus on me and give me all the time I need and deserve. I was blown away!!! The other colorists were giving ideas and complimenting one another on good “outside the box” thinking”. The teamwork and comradery was something that I have rarely seen at other salons I have frequented in the past.
I can’t say enough about how much Alicia truly cares about her clients, their comfortabilty, their happiness and their satisfaction. I mean, the girl came in on her day off because she knew I wasn’t completely happy with our session the day before. If that’s not true passion and compassion for your job and just genuinely caring about your clients, then I don’t know what is!!! I recommend Alicia to my mom who means the world to me and I trust no one to touch her hair so that says enough right there!
