However; as soon as Fall came around, I wasn't ready to say good-bye to my extensions! I was an addict! When I first spoke to Rocci, she was looking for models on Facebook. This gave me a chance to ask her questions and get a vibe for whom I was dealing with. I had heard horror stories about lash extensions gone wrong, and was nervous to try it. Rocci was very knowledgeable and professional, and quickly put my mind at ease. On my first visit I was impressed with the aesthetic of her office and how convenient it was to get to. It was very relaxing. Candles, aroma therapy, music, she even put a pillow under my injured ankle to elevate it! I got the "volume" set, which isn't too dramatic and was just right for me. It took a couple hours during the first application and Rocci explained everything in advance and helped me find the style that would work best for my eye shape and lifestyle. As a performer I was worried about having to wear lashes on stage, and how they would effect my extensions. Rocci was always good about trying to schedule my fills right after those performances. There were no hidden fees and she was totally upfront about the cost to maintain them. Fills are every 2 weeks. Rocci is also super friendly and easy to talk to as well. She takes her time and makes sure you are totally happy with your finished look. Since I have gotten the extensions I am much faster getting out of the house. I can get up, and throw on some skin care, brows and lip gloss and be out the door. On days I have more time I can still play with my eyeshadow looks and pretty much do everything I used to do prior to getting extensions, except apply false lashes. After care involves washing the lashes with a special lash extension cleanser (you can get it from Amazon or Ulta for a decent price) and being careful to avoid things that will break down the extension glue. Rocci gives you a little sheet and goes over these things with you. If you have been curious about getting extensions, definitely give Rocci a try! I have included some pictures of my extensions. I tried to include different angles, and some with make up, some without, so you could get an idea of what the volume set looks like. As I get older I appreciate having these little luxury's that make me feel more confident, and save me time. If you choose to get them, I bet you love your extensions, too!
