This is the barber shop I've been looking for, for years. It's got old school feel, -with the checkerboard floor, memorabilia covered walls, real barber chairs, a rabbit scurrying around, and a parrot cawing from the owner, Robin's head. How much more old school can you get? I got a haircut, neck straight-razor shave, a hot towel finish and great conversation all for only $12 bucks. It was easily a $20 experience!
Robin told me she's owned the place for over 5 years, and she's the only one there that cuts hair. So when you walk in, you know exactly who will be cutting your hair. I like that. Most places I've been to over the past 5 years have a new face everytime I come in. And some look as fresh as the ink on their new licenses hanging on the wall.
I will never go to another Mcquick-cut joint again. And neither should you. "Head" over to see Robin for your next trim. Be sure to bring cash. She has a ball and chain for plastic only customers 😉
