Update: The second experience was much better — the technician took more time and care, and the final result was closer to what I expected. I appreciate the salon’s willingness to correct the issue and make things right. While my first visit didn’t meet expectations, I’m glad they were responsive and professional in handling the situation.
I had a mixed experience during my recent visit. I used my Mother’s Day certificate on May 20. The massage was truly relaxing and well done – I left feeling refreshed and appreciated the calm atmosphere.
However, the pedicure was unfortunately quite disappointing. The room was dimly lit, which may be relaxing for clients but is clearly not ideal for detailed work like pedicures. It seemed the staff couldn’t properly see the cuticles or areas needing exfoliation. What surprised me most was that the gel polish was applied before trimming the nails, cutting the cuticles, or removing dead skin. As a result, the gel was painted right over uncut cuticles. Now that my nails have started to grow out, there’s a visible ridge of gel on every toe, making the pedicure look messy and unfinished.
This isn’t the level of quality I expect, especially considering the time and cost involved. I hope management considers adjusting the lighting and retraining staff on proper pedicure procedure.
