I've recently had my car broken into by means of them smashing my rear driver side window and stealing my brand new coach purse, among other things. Although my renters insurance should cover my loss, it has been a long and depressing process, I understand the $500 deductable but everything else just feels like them trying to get out of paying. If they could blame it on me they would... I am definatly not in good hands and to anyone thinking of getting insurance through allstate just know it all sounds real nice and hassle free when you sign up, but that changes heaven forbid you actually have a loss and they may have to pay for it. Oh and don't get me wrong they are plenty curtious and helpful in every way until it comes time for them to be the ones to pay you, then it's a whole different story, especially katy in the claims department, not helpful or supportive at all what so ever...
