Read MoreI shop at this Safeway only when I don't have the energy to go into Napa for groceries. Much of the stock is priced significantly higher than the same items in Napa Safeways. This one clearly knows it has a large tourist clientele and convenience items, desserts, grab-and-go meals, and the like are marked way up to take advantage of the tourist crowd.I try and avoid Safeway at the common rush hours- lunch, after work, weekends. The shoppers tend to be mean, the parking lot is horrible to navigate, and the staff seem very put out by the clientele.If you have options to go into Napa or Santa Rosa to grocery shop, well worth the 30 or 40 minute drives! Plus, the money you save well makes up for the gas and time.
