Read MoreI don’t do the bulk of my grocery shopping at this Safeway, but I do use their pharmacy regularly and find myself in the store about once a week. The store itself is large, clean, and consistently well-stocked. Their merchandising is thoughtful—end caps are always appealing and easy to navigate—and I appreciate the sale items when they pop up.
One surprising highlight: their cold fried chicken is excellent. Definitely worth grabbing if you’re looking for something quick and tasty.
The pharmacy staff are great. Even when there’s a line, they move through it efficiently. They’ve always had my prescriptions in stock without the need for special orders or shipments, which I appreciate. I’ve also received my flu and shingles vaccines here. There was a bit of an unexpected wait for the vaccine due to staffing, but that’s understandable, and I won’t fault them for it. The waiting area was surprisingly comfortable and relaxing, especially considering it’s right in the middle of a grocery store.
Overall, it’s a well-run Safeway with a solid pharmacy and consistently good customer service.
