Nice country tavern, off the beaten path, with a very relaxing atmosphere. Food and drinks were perfect. Inside and outside seating options were available. We were seated right away, without a dinner reservation. Good place for a quiet date night.

Beautiful grounds, inside or outside dining. Make a reservation it gets busy. The service was excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. All courses came out at a nice pace, you did not feel rushed. Drinks were very good.

Excellent environment, good food- Seafood, steaks, fresh trout. Saturday night card/magic entertainment is fun and has been for many years. Very good service on a busy Saturday night. Oyster soup is hard to find and it is great. Lots of choices for fresh trout.

We LOVE enjoying a meal outside on the patio and listening to music. Joe Keppel, the magician, is always a welcome visitor as he goes table to table doing astounding magic tricks! The food is always yummy and you can't beat the atmosphere.

What an awesome atmosphere, very quaint and charming. I recommend sitting out back if the weather permits. It does have covered areas and looks like they have outdoor heaters for when the weather gets cooler. You won't be disappointed

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Spring Valley Tavern. They still have the trout pond. The food and service was great. The place has not changed in the past 40+ years since we attended Allentown College of St. Francis DeSales (DeSales University).
