Here are the highlights:
We started with a couple of soup appetizers, wonton soup and tom yum soup. The wontons, filled with shrimp, packed great flavor without being too fishy, and had generous chunks of bok choy in the broth. As for the Tom Yum soup, it was authentically Thai – a spicy, tangy broth loaded with mushrooms and chicken. The spice level was perfect.
For our main dish, we got the Moo Daeng, a Thai BBQ pork dish which was excellent. Combination of sliced BBQ pork and pork sausage, accompanied by a side of rice, a soy egg, crunchy cucumber, soybean paste sauce, and dark soy sauce.
The staff was another highlight of our visit. They were friendly, accommodating, and took the time to explain the menu. Their recommendations were spot-on!
There was absolutely nothing to fault about Yaowarat Road . Between the incredible food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. I am looking forward to our next visit to explore more of their menu. It's unquestionably a 5-star gem.
