Since posting my original review below, I’ve been back countless times and wanted to post an update as I’ve been able to experience more of what Wrigley’s has to offer.
First, it's not just the award winning Pizza and Dogs that are delicious! Everything I've tried is great, I mean really it is! They have FRESH ground meat delivered several times a week from a local butcher for their burgers. Their Southwest Cobb Salad comes with a dressing better than I've ever had anywhere else. It was so good I could almost drink it as a beverage. And the super generous portions of perfectly flavored tender chicken and heavenly tasting bacon made it a gourmet quality salad more than a bar salad. In fact this is definitely NOT bar food. The only thing about the food that is bar-like are the PRICES! On Saturday they have a prime rib special that is the same or better quality of what nice steak places are serving but at about half the price.
I also really didn't do justice to owners in my first review. I was so impressed that they were being out with the customers laughing, interacting, drinking, etc, and that they designed everything around a fantastic customer experience that I missed some of the more “substantive” points.
First, Skip and Betty are really great friendly salt of the earth people, not just great proprietors. Here’s just one example.
They have these $3 a shot specials for a brief time when the live bands are playing and ALL of the proceeds go to Food For Thought. Food For Thought is an organization that strives to eliminate weekend hunger for children by providing 26,000 FoodSacks to 75 different Denver schools. (I also found out that they don’t just send them a check, they actually go and physically do volunteer work as well filling the sacks). Put another way, they provide a way that drinking puts food in the stomachs of hungry kids. How great is that?
They regard their employees as family and treat their customers as friends. Skip was on stage once and thanked the young lady working behind the bar and introduced her as his daughter. She is not biologically, but he explained that she was like family. Service is great there, Probably because there’s a loyalty that can’t be bought with just a paycheck. And Skip and Paula get that.
It’s a great place to visit for so many reasons!!

What a terrific place! I've been there several times and felt I had to write this review.
Spending an afternoon with great music by excellent live bands out on a spacious but shady deck on a warm afternoon, surrounded by an amazingly friendly crowd was like a strong cocktail of joy, happiness and peace. You'd don't have to be from Chicago to feel at home here.
The Chicago pizza and dogs are as advertised (best, award winning, etc.) and their signature dessert is a caloric sin that definitely should be committed even by the most devout health fanatics.
And the owners are the best managers/owners of a venue I've ever seen. They are right out there with everyone interacting with everyone, eating, drinking, enjoying the music and experiencing the same thing as their customers. You can tell they had customers in mind by how they designed, built and run the place.
