Waco Waffle Co is an absolute gem! From the moment you arrive, you're welcomed with warm hospitality, a cozy atmosphere, and the mouthwatering aroma of fresh waffles wafting through the air. Tucked inside a beautifully restored building with character and charm, this place offers not just amazing food—but a full-on experience.
The waffles are next-level. Whether you're going sweet or savory, you cannot go wrong. I ordered The University—a dreamy combo of peanut butter, bananas, chocolate chips, and caramel—and it was truly one of the best waffles I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and topped to perfection. My friend had The Silo (fried chicken, jalapeño-cheddar waffle, avocado, egg), and every bite was bold, flavorful, and expertly balanced.
They also offer inventive drinks like house-made kombucha and frozen yogurt-topped waffles that hit the spot on a hot Texas day. You can tell everything is made with care—from the ingredients to the presentation.
The service was just as exceptional as the food. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely kind, helpful, and enthusiastic about their menu (which says a lot!). Even though it was busy, our order came out quickly and was delivered with a smile.
Bonus points for the great outdoor seating area and cool aesthetic—perfect for a weekend brunch or casual bite with friends.
