One of the best servers I’ve had in a while works here! He was so attentive to our table despite the rush of diners. The food is good enough for a special celebration, but the only problem as expected with a condensed downtown area of a small community is parking. I would definitely come back if craving for Italian - service is awesome!

When we arrived, we got seated right away. We were asked if we wanted the high top tables or regular, we did not mind. The set up of the tables was nice, and the place felt romantic. There were a few people eating at the restaurant, but the tone was just right. Not too loud and not too quiet. This was our first time there, so we decided to go with the tasting menu. Everything we got tasted good from the appetizers to the dessert. One thing I did love was that the person helping us was helpful and had a great attitude. I will definitely be coming back to this place and trying out other dishes.

Always delicious. We arrived early for our reservation but we were happy to wait in the bar area with some cocktails. The drinks were good. We had a group on for our dinner. It came with a bottle of wine, two appetizers or salads, two entrees, and one dessert.. it was perfect for my friend and I. I must admit the only time I was disappointed was when I found out there don't have the grilled pear ravioli. It broke me heart on the inside. But I understand having a rotating menu. I had the braised boar over pasta and my friend had the ravioli and gnocchi sampler. Everything was delicious. Always recommend the cream brulee. 10/10 recommended. Be sure to make a reservation. Ever since Vin Santo opened in Willow Glen, our family has enjoyed dining and celebrating with them. Such a cozy atmosphere, very accommodating with large families, and Chef Umberto is a positive fixture in the community. The drinks and food are a’plenty, and the flavors are also robust n delicious. Authentic Italian restaurant in San Jose is Vin Santo….and we love it each time!

Everything's is Amazing, Food delicious Restrooms clean Great service Only issues seating/tables very close to other tables and walls. A bit over crowded. For such a nice classy restaurant, very cheap tables that weren't even and rocked back and forth. We sat on the first table on the left when you come in. Definitely would recommend

I came here with family for my 23rd birthday and they went above and beyond for our group; we couldn't have had better service. The staff was welcoming and very friendly, the food was absolutely delicious, and the birthday celebration was spectacular! We all got a complimentary glass of champagne to celebrate the birthday and we got to sample some desserts as a birthday treat after our delicious dinners. With the quality you're getting when you come here, you can easily rack up a hefty bill so I'll be saving this gem of a restaurant for special occasion/celebration dinners, but will definitely recommend to friends.

Came here with my family during the outdoor seating during COVID. First of all, the ambiance was great — there was live music DJed and also the lights and outdoor patio seating were great! I got the lobster meat pasta with vodka sauce and loved the flavor - potions were just right too! Came on oyster day too which was great and just $1/oyster! For dessert we got the chocolate pecan pie which was so tasty and crispy. Would come again!

Welcome to little Italy. Marco and the team work hard. The Gnocchi are the best ever. Like. Ever. Fluffy and yummy. They melt in your mouth. The outdoor patio is great. Brought the dog and he was so happy with all the attention. FIVE STARS

Groupon deal!! The servers were friendly/accommodating for my bf’s b-day! The cook made a custom dessert for him without additional cost! They even lit up the candles I brought from home along with a sparkler type candle! There’s complementary bread and butter before ordering, the Groupon deal comes with 1 whole bottle of wine, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 2 desserts! Our server was named Anna, she is an amazing sever! She didn’t forget one thing, she’s fast and efficient; however, she knows when to give you sometime to eat and when to approach you when you are finished with each item. I would definitely request having her again! Before Groupon the bill was $140 with groupon it is ended up being $80 but I have a student account with Groupon which takes off 25% off of the $80 which ends up being $60 for 2 people! That’s a savings of $80! I tipped 20% (based on original price $140) which was $30. The place is absolutely beautiful! The food was so good!! Worth going and worth the Groupon! Lastly, COVID friendly!

Excellente! Dined at Vin Santo in DEC 22 and JAN 23; both experiences were fantastic mostly in part to the personable service by Michal who guided us through the dining menu and wine personally, professionally. Michal's service experience is exceptional. The cocktails, wine and dinner entrees were delicious. Michal chose wine to best accompany our pasta and cioppino dishes and the dinner was a hit. Dining also included fresh out the oven bread / butter, a good selection of apps (meats/cheese, calamari, etc) various dessert choices including affogato and creme brulee during our visits. I believe there is parking in back thru narrow alley way. There is street parking and I chose the muni-lot nearby behind Nick the Greek. Restrooms clean, outside patio warm and inviting.

The restaurant has a great ambience. The outdoor seating has the fence covered with vines and looks beautiful with ambient lighting. The Gnocchi pasta and wild boar was really good. We got the Groupon which made the deal slightly cheaper but not by a lot, maybe $20. The staff is really friendly. A must try!

Buckle up, this will be a long one! We moved to the area about 1.5 years ago, and this is by far the best dining experience we’ve had. The ambiance was wonderful. The restaurant is dark but each table has a little light which really set the mood and made our table feel intimate. Our waiter, Jesus, was so lovely and attentive. There was another gentleman helping him, didn’t catch his name but he was so funny and friendly! The BREAD! Literally the best bread I’ve ever had. It was so good and warm and the little spread was so good. I had a glass of wine, the Maddalena Chardonnay, delicious. So crisp and fruity. Our meals, I can’t say enough!! Everything was so good, so fresh and flavorful. I couldn’t eat my entire dish, but you bet I got a to go box!! We got the Tiramisu to go as well, can’t wait to eat that, looks delicious. Overall, such a great experience!! Thank you, Vin Santo!

The restaurant was our venue for my wife's birthday celebration. We and our guests enjoyed the event in large part due to the attentive service from the staff and the quality of the food. To this day we still hear from our friends about how good the appetizers were and the main dishes. Than k you for exceeding our expectations
