The other complication is that it is pretty difficult to find an authentic Trini Chinese food business in South Florida. Trini's Chinese Bites could not have been any harder to find, but was well worth the exploration.
Since my MCL damage I have had to return to Total Orthopedic for my progress to be reviewed by the doctor. After a visit, I searched for food in the area and was excited to find this restaurant.
It is a takeout only establishment but the area is clean and there is a clear view of the kitchen, so you can see all the tasty delights getting prepared. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and able to answer any questions you might have about the menu. I love that smell of fresh, well seasoned food being prepared in front of you. The menu is full of local (Trinidad) favorites, like Char Sui Kai Fan and Pepper Chicken, and sides as well. The portions are huge, tasty, and mouthwatering. Everything was cooked to perfection and the wait time was very short. The fried rice had the taste and flavor of the Dragon (Wok Hey), a thing that sets Chinese food places apart from each other. I only wish there were a bit more vegetables in there.
As I will have many more trips to the doctor until I am fully healed, I will be back to Trini's Chinese Bites until I have tried everything on the menu. Hope to see you there.
