As far as Mexican restaurants go, this place is pretty standard. Brightly decorated with music playing. Immediately brought out chips and salsa. The pico style was really "rustic" with large uneven chunks of jalapeños and tomatoes. The chips were warm, and the regular salsa had good flavor. He ordered a shredded beef chimichanga. The beef had excellent flavor, though the portion was a little small. It was really loaded with sour cream and extra chunky guacamole. I had my usual first time at a new Mexican spot order - Cheese enchilada and beef taco. Everything was alright, sort of bland. The rice was also bland, but the beans tasted pretty good.
The restaurant was really clean and well kept. Nice and bright inside, with good food smells. The parking was fine for midday on a weekday. But with the tree lot out front, it might be harder on a weeknight or weekend. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well. Overall, it was an okay weekday lunch.
