There are fire pits and picnic tables at each spot, with water spouts available about every 5 spots. Mature cottonwood trees offer afternoon shade, and each camp spot has a smaller tree or two within it. Depending on the time of year, these trees are overrun with bugs... mosquitoes mainly. It can get brutal. Do not let this detour you from coming. Just prepare accordingly. There is a nice grass area and playground for the kids, along with nice paved roads for bike riding. The facilities are fantastic and well-kept, and include showers.
