Went to the Tin Rooster for dinner tonight and we were very happy with our food!
The wife had the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese and I had the 3 Meat Combo. My meal consisted of brisket (tender and juicy), smoked turkey (also tender, smoky and flavorful), and ribs that fell off the bone! My sides were salt potatoes, burnt end baked beans, and hush puppies with maple butter. All were quite delicious!
Everything was made in house, and tasted great. The only ding was that a few components of my meal were only "warm"... could have been hotter, but it wasn't a big deal. My wife's sandwich was served hot.
My wife's sandwich was "excellent". It was a big sandwich and she ate every bite. She's very picky and loved it. She's a cornbread fan and enjoyed that as well.
We were concerned as the last time we were there, many years ago when it first opened, we were not impressed. But I'm glad we went back. It was a delicious meal at a very reasonable price!
The atmosphere was very "country", and our waitress was attentive and professional. She brought over a refill before my glass was empty...Overall a nice dining experience!
