Let me tell you why it should have been 5 stars!
First and best, the service was amazing! In spite of being busy, the staff worked together to make sure our cups were full.
Second, value. The portions were awesomely large! I asked if a large fry would feed 3 of us and she said a small would probably do the job! We were hungry so I ordered a small fry, a small chili cheese fry and 3 single cheeseburgers. The chili cheese fries came out first and massively exceeded our expectations! They were huge with a very large portion of chili and shredded melted cheddar. The regular fries came next, and indeed it would have been sufficient for the 3 of us! Then the burgers. The burgers were seasoned extremely well, and the veggies, especially the tomatoes were very fresh and flavorful.
Third, most of which I have already pointed out, Quality. The food and the atmosphere was very good quality, and the environment was simple yet very inviting.
I live 40 minutes away, yet I can promise you I will be back.
If you are traveling through, take the 5 minute drive off the interstate to a beautiful downtown area, and enjoy the best service, burgers and homestyle fries that you could possibly expect! You won't regret it!
