We arrived around dinner time on a Saturday night, but were seated right away after a table cleaning. We ordered a small serving of Fanny Bay oysters to start. They were served with cocktail sauce, horseradish sauce and mignonette. They were extremely delicious! These were high quality oysters, not the kind you get at buffets. We all ordered clam chowder, which was excellent! It had tons of clams and lots of homemade flavor. Although it took a little while longer than expected to get all of our food, it was well worth the wait. The ribeye was superb! It was thick and delicious. So was the jumbo shrimp served with the steak on their "surf and turf." They had a special on 1 lb. of snow crab legs, and I'm glad I ordered it. They were juicy and sweet, served with drawn butter and lemon. It was very nice to be served crab crackers and kitchen shears with the crab legs. The "rack of lamb" was actually 2 lamb chops. They might have been the best lamb chops I've ever tasted; very tender and juicy. The julienned vegetables they included with the meat dishes were very good. Service was good, and with a smile. It was fairly crowded while we were there, but they still kept up pretty well. It's a rather small place with only a dozen or so tables, and one bigger table for large groups. There are a few bar stools as well. Nicely decorated interior with lots of seafood themed decor. There were several TVs on the walls. The server asked if it was anybody's birthday (which it was!), so she served us a nice piece of complimentary Happy Birthday cheesecake with strawberries, blueberries, strawberry sauce and mint. We look forward to our next visit!
