A Midtown favorite, the Golden Bear did not disappoint during a recent lunch visit. Great food, good drink selection, and an eclectic display of local art. I think the walls and floors were still pulsing from the dance party the night before!

Stopped by due to an online recommendation. We were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is a little sparse but the food makes up for it. The chef takes great pride in his work. The turnip soup was amazing.

Small, neighborhood bar that makes fantastic food. The bar is usually pretty busy on weekend nights and they even get busy for brunch during the typically busy hours.

This is a total Hometown type of place. The owner was our waiter and our bartender. We had great conversation, great food, strong drinks, and just a wonderful time. Love this place! The pesto pasta/chicken/musbroom/bacon was AWESOME! Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
